OPEN LETTER TO ALL SF NDIS PARTICIPANTS

Dear All NDIS Participants,

I would like to bring it to your attention that one of your invoices processed by Support Foundation might have been subject to pre-payment claim review by NDIS. Pre-payment claim review is a new program implemented by NDIS to ensure that funds are spent in accordance with the participants NDIS plan and to ensure the ongoing sustainability of the scheme. As mentioned in NDIS’s information release dated 9th April 2024, this is a random review, and they have requested further information about the invoice to validate the claim. Since this is a random review, we are not sure about the timeframe when we could expect the payments for your invoices. NDIS have not discussed any further reason behind this payment hold with us.

We have sent you / your provider with all the details of the information required by the NDIS. Whatever information we have received by you / your provider, we have sent them all to NDIS for the review. NDIS are taking more than usual time to get back to us about the payments. It has been more than 8 weeks. We have found that any further invoices we claim for you will be placed on hold until previous pre-payment claim review is finalised. Since this involves delay from NDIS, there is nothing more we can do at this time.

It has come to our attention that whenever a participant calls NDIA to follow up on invoices, NDIA are advising to wait for the payment to be released or to change the provider. We are shocked with the response they are providing. Best advise / recommendation we can make at this time for you is to contact NDIS directly and ask for the solution. We cannot jeopardise the trust we have developed with you over the past few years due to delay in service delivery by NDIA. We are happy to do whatever you advise. If you want to wait until NDIA releases funds, we are happy to have you as our valuable customer. If exiting from our services helps you get your supports ongoing, we will follow your instructions. Following is the link and list where you can find other registered NDIS providers that delivers similar supports like Support Foundation:
