Practical, person-centred assistance to help participants manage everyday activities, maintain routines, participate in their community and work towards greater independence.
Core Supports generally help with regular everyday tasks such as personal care, cooking and cleaning, as well as social and community participation. They are funded from the Core Supports budget in a participant’s NDIS plan.

How we work
We build each support arrangement around the participant’s goals and routine, match support workers carefully, and review the arrangement regularly with the participant, their family and their support coordinator.
We provide qualified support workers to carry out basic bowel care, urinary catheter care and PEG feeding. We do not provide supra-pubic catheter care, catheter insertion, complex bowel care involving non-routine treatment, feeding services for a frequently dislodged feeding tube, or support for a person at high risk of choking.
Support Foundation assesses every referral individually. We only accept supports that fall within our NDIS registration, workforce competencies, clinical governance arrangements and capacity to deliver safely. Where a participant requires supports outside our scope, we work with the participant and their representatives to identify an appropriate provider.
