Section 33 of NDIS Implementation and Basic Information about your supports with Support Foundation

Starting from mid-May 2025, updates to Section 33 of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will be implemented.

The Section 33 amendments are designed to enhance transparency and improve financial management for both participants and providers. The main updates include:

Basic Information from Support Foundation – Authorized:

As you are one of Support Foundation’s valuable participant, your service agreement and schedule of support with us is current and automatically renews, with pricing updated in line with the latest NDIS Price Guide, unless advised otherwise in writing on your schedule of support. A minimum shift duration will be of two hours, and cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be fully charged. Travel costs will be charged at a rate between $0.85 (normal vehicle) and $2.40 (modified vehicle) per KM. You may terminate the agreement, amend, or cancel shifts at no charge, provided at least 24 hours’ notice is given. Support Foundation may provide multiple types of support; however, you retain full choice and control over your service providers and may choose alternatives such as Anglicare, Sunnyfield, Mable, Hireup, Advance Care, and others. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Support Foundation supports student placements and provides assistance to clients struggling with basic needs. Your information may be shared with relevant healthcare professionals involved in your care. Your support workers and healthcare professionals may request your signatures after each shift and take photographs / video for verification of service delivery or to document any incidents. Our all accommodations may be monitored by CCTV for safety purposes.
